It all began with a simple idea fueled by a deep passion. Your designs are bringing those ideas to life, and UBU wants to elevate your brand awareness to people all around the world.

Designers have the opportunity to showcase their designs by participating in a Designer Group Showcase or hold their own Private showcase as follows:

DESIGNER GROUP SHOWCASES

Option One: Non-Affiliated Models

  • Designers who want to participate in a group showcase may reserve a showcase runway time by paying a showcase fee of £299 as follows: 
    • A non-refundable deposit of £100 or more is required when registering or within 10 days of your registration date. The remainder of a show fee must be paid within 60 days of registering or 60 days prior to the show, whichever date comes first. 
    • Designers may also simply pay their complete fee of £299 when registering.

 

  • Without a deposit or payment in full by the deadline date, a designer will be removed from the showcase lineup with NO REFUNDS. NO EXCEPTIONS!
  • Designers will be added to our advertising program as part of the upcoming event once their showcase fee is paid in full.
  • Showcases are limited and assigned on a first registration/payment basis.
  • UBU will provide designers with model information to use for their showcase.
  • Designers will share the runway for a 40 to 45-minute show.
  • Each designer must have a minimum of 10 or a maximum of 12 designs.

Option Two: Affiliated Models

Designers may bring a minimum of ten or a maximum of twelve models who are affiliated with their brand and not affiliated with any other designer or showcase to model in their show. Designers must register their models with our office to ensure they are not associated with another designer or show. 

 

Designers have two options for paying their Showcase Runway Fee of £299

  • Option One, Pay Direct. Designers may pay their runway fee of £299 directly to our office.
  • Option Two, Affiliated Model Essentials Packages. Each Designer's Showcase Runway Fee of £299 will be waived when you personally purchase an Affiliated Model Essentials Package for each of your models or the Models purchases a Model Essentials Packages themselves.
  • If you select the Affiliated Model Essentials Package Option, please do one of the following:
    • One. Paying for the Model Essentials Packages yourself:
      • Complete the Designers Affiliated Models Form to register your models and purchase their packages. If you need to purchase the packages over several weeks, please put that in the notes of your form and let us know what PayPal email you are using so we can track the model package you order. Feel free to email us each time you make a package purchase as a reminder of your payments.
    • OR
    • Two. Models Paying for their own Model Essentials Package: Complete the Designers Affiliated Models Form to register your models with our office and tell us which Model Essentials Package you are choosing for your models. Next, click HERE for a link to share with your models so they can purchase their packages themselves. You will be notified once all your models have purchased their packages. Below is a list of packages to choose from. Packages A and B are only available through our Designer's Affiliated Models Program and not available to the public, but the rest of the packages are available to models affiliated with designers.

 

  • Just for reference, our Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum packages are also offered to models not associated with designers and advertised for models who are cast independently as a model.

      Any additional fees a designer implements to a model is strictly between the designer and model and is not affiliated with UBU Productions. UBU does not accept additional payments for designers and does not endorse additional fees implemented by designers.

      The Designer Affiliated Packages are awarded to designers based on only one Model Essentials Package of your choosing. Model Essential Packages for your models cannot be mixed/matched to receive your award.

      DESIGNER GROUP SHOWCASE OPPORTUNITIES

      Each designer will have access to or receive the following:

      • There will only be a maximum of five designers per each Group Designer Showcase
      • Up to six Designer Group Showcases or Private Showcases are available during our event 
      • Each designer will showcase between 10 to 12 designs per collection
      • Fitting room space for fittings 
      • Dressing room space prior to your show
      • One full-page ad in our official souvenir Look Book
      • One free official souvenir Look Book
      • Link to your choice of your main social media account or website from our website 
      • Your brand logo and business bio featured on our website
      • Be allowed to LIVE stream your designs to your own social media account at your own discretion
      • Bring your own photographer to work alongside our house photographer or purchase runway pictures from our house photographer
      • Access to our professional videography services for your show
      • Access to a Dressing Room Site Coordinator to help with questions
      • Dressing Room Attendants to assist with models/needs
      • Access to a Front House Production Staff
      • Access to a Back House Production Staff

      • Opportunity to book a Street Photoshoot with our in-house photographer*
      • 45-minute load in for designs and dressing models before the showcase begins
      • Have a maximum time of 15 minutes to remove guests and clean up the runway venue
      • Up to 30 minutes to clean up your dressing room area and remove everything related to your show
      • Can provide their own modeling music to our Executive Stage Producer within 30 days of our event. If deadline is surpassed for music submission, the producer will select music for you. All music must be family-friendly appropriate.
      • Designer Group Showcase spots are limited and are assigned on a first registration and paid basis. Failure a pay your deposit when reserving your spot or to pay for your Showcase spot in full by the deadline date will result in dismissal of your show with no refund. NO EXCEPTIONS.

      *Badges included for designers must be used for their intended use and not given to guests.

       

      There are no refunds on any payments. No exceptions.

      Outside of the UBU official staff, everyone is responsible for their own expenses relating to this event.

        PRIVATE DESIGNER SHOWCASES

        OPTION ONE: Private Showcase, non-affiliated models

        • Designers may reserve a Private Showcase by paying a showcase fee of $2,999 as one designer or $3,999 with two designers and split the $3,999 fee. Private designer showcases are limited and available on a first reservation/paid basis.
        • A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 or more is required when registering for a private show or within 10 days of your registration date. The remainder of a show fee must be paid within 60 days of registering or by August 1 for September shows or by December 1 for February shows, whichever date comes first. It is the designer's responsibility to ensure that fees are paid in a timely manner.
        • Designers may also pay their complete fee when registering.
          • Without a deposit or payment in full, a designer will be removed from the showcase lineup with NO REFUNDS. NO EXCEPTIONS! 
        • Designers will be added to our advertising program as part of the upcoming event once their showcase fee is paid in full.
        • UBU will provide designers with non-affiliated model information for models to use for their showcase.
        • A Private Show is allotted up to 45 minutes of runway time.

        OPTION TWO: Designer Private Showcase, affiliated models

        Designers may bring their own models who are affiliated with their brand and not affiliated with any other designer or showcase to model in their show. Designers must register their models with the UBU World Office to ensure they are not associated with another designer or show.

        DESIGNER PRIVATE SHOWCASE OPPORTUNITIES

        • Fitting room space for fittings
        • Dressing room space available prior to your show
        • 45-minute load in time in the Dressing Room
        • 45-minutes of runway time
        • 15-minute clear the runway space and empty the runway room of guests while their dressing room is being cleared out
        • 30 minutes to clear out of the Dressing Room and clean up after yourself and your models
        • Assistant with Audio
        • Designers may showcase as many designs as they wish as long as they stay within the 45-minute modeling time frame
        • Provide your own Front and Back of House staff or hire the UBU House Staff for $300 for your show
        • Sell tickets and keep those proceeds for your own show. Designers are responsible for supplying someone to collects tickets/money at the door. 
        • One full-page ad in our souvenir program book
        • One free souvenir program book
        • Link to your main social media account or your website from our website
        • LIVE stream your own show to your own social media account on your own
        • Bring your own photographer or hire our house photographer. Prices vary depending on your needs.
        • Designers must bring a USB for the pictures to be put on if you are using our house photographer.
        • Bring their own videographer or hire our house videographer for $500. Designers must bring a device for the videos to be put on if you are using our house videographer.
        • Set up a 6' deep X 8' wide vendor's spot in our vendors area for the weekend and sell or promote your products.
          • Only 15 spots are available and will go to the designers who pay their designer runway fee first.
        • Access to a Dressing Room Site Coordinator to help with questions
        • Provide your own Dressing Room Assistants or hire our UBU Assistants for $100 per person for your show
        • Provide your own staff for the front and back production staff or hire UBU Production staff for $300
        • UBU will have an official audio person present to oversee audio equipment for your show. Music must be sent to Amber Miller, our International Choreographer and Stage Producer by August 15 at Amber@ubuproductions.org.
        • Use of our official Hair & Makeup Artists for your models or provide your own HMU artists. No public space is provided for your own HMU artists. HMU services may NOT be done in the vendor space, fitting rooms, or dressing rooms. It is a designer's responsibility to provide space for their own HMU artists. HMU artists are NOT permitted behind stage at any time. If you bring your own HMU artists, there is a $500 HMU artist service fee that is to be paid directly to the UBU World.
        • Sell tickets and keep those proceeds for your own show. Designers are responsible for supplying someone to collects tickets/money at the door.  
        • Designers are responsible for submitting their Look Book ad to our Executive Editor, Ashley Fyffe, by emailing it to Ashley@ubuproductions.org.  All ads are due by August 1. No Exceptions. For information on the specs of the ad, please contact Ashley.

        • At this time, we are not opening private shows to pageants. Our focus is to help designers shine!

        MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION*

        • Designer Group Showcase spots are limited and are assigned on a first registration and paid basis. Failure to a pay your deposit when reserving your spot or to pay for your Showcase spot in full by the deadline date will result in dismissal of your show with no refund. NO EXCEPTIONS.
        • All complimentary badges or badges purchases for an intended use must be used for those purposes only. They are not to be handed out to family/friends/fans to get into an event.
        • Designers must provide everything they need for their own Vendor Spaces as well as providing staff to operate it.  UBU is not responsible for items lost or stolen.
        • All Street Photoshoots with our in-house photographer is at an additional cost. Pricing is done personally by our in-house photographer.
        • *Eskew Consulting will conduct the Professional Runway Workshops. All Models, whether affiliated or non-affiliated will be assigned to workshop at the discretion of UBU Productions.
        • If a designer is using a Personal Hair & Makeup Artist and not using our official hair & makeup artists, the designer must submit a Personal HMU Fee of $499 to the UBU World Office.
        • UBU or any of its staff is not responsible for overseeing fittings on behalf of a designer.
        • If a designer does not attend the event and they charged their models for any affiliate fees, the designer is responsible for refunding their models within 48 hours of the no-show. If a designer fails to attend the event and legal action is needed for model refunds, UBU will encourage the models to seek legal action against the designer.
        • UBU does not take any responsibility for any financial obligations on behalf of a designer.
        • Designers and anyone affiliated with their business are responsible for all accommodations for the event.
        • If the event is held in a hotel where a room block is mandatory by the hotel, then the designer, her staff, and her affiliated models are required to stay at that host hotel. 

        • There are no refunds on any payments. No exceptions.

        •  

          Outside of the UBU official staff, everyone is responsible for their own expenses relating to this event.

         

        DESIGNER EXPECTIONS

        • Professional conduct is expected at all times from all designers and their associates.
        • Designs cannot be a collection of Shein or Temu or similar sites.
        • Designs should be original or a design that has been significantly enhanced to represent your style.
        • Rude and unnecessary comments may cause a designer to be removed from a showcase and forfeit any fees paid and vendors spaces.
        • Designers and their affiliates should remember that this is a family-friendly event and act accordingly.
        • Designers and their affiliates release UBU Productions and their associates of all injury, lost, and stolen item claims. 
        • Designers and their affiliates are responsible for their own travel, meal, and hotel accommodations.
        • There are to be absolutely NO photos taken inside of dressing or fitting rooms.
        • Men/boys are not permitted in a female dressing room at any time. 
        • If a designer is a male designer, his models will have a place to change and then come to a designated place to meet with the designer that is separate from a female's dressing or fitting room.
        • Designers and their affiliates will treat others with respect
        • Designers and their affiliates are responsible for staying within their time limits for the fitting, dressing, and runway time frames. If a designer goes over more than 10 minutes on their allotted times whether on stage or dressing areas, they will be fined $500.  If the fine is not paid, they will not be allowed to return to a future UBU event.
        • Designers not showing up for their show will be banned from participating in a future UBU Production and expected to refund all their models for any money collected from them. 
        • If UBU Productions has to move models into another show because of a no-show or lack of designs for their models, the designer will be fined $150 per model for the inconvenience of both the model and UBU.
        • Designers and their affiliates agree that UBU and its staff has the authority to make decisions based on the health and safety of everyone involved at the event.
        • There will be a $200 cleaning fee for dressing rooms, runway areas, or private show guest areas if it is not cleaned up by the designer or his/her staff.
