AT UBU, OPPORTUNITIES ARE ENDLESS!

Our gorgeous stage and professional lighting, sound, staff, photography, and videography will allow you to walk with pride and self-confidence. Designers will represent their designs from all around the world. Our amazing Runway Crew will create an experience like no other. We will provide professional staff to assist designers and models in dressing and fitting rooms as well as at our red-carpet registration to ensure a positive experience from day one.

Models also have the opportunity to compete in our USA Model & Talent Competition in September, as well as the World Model & Talent Competitions in February. Additional Street Photoshoots and Print Model Photoshoots will be offered to allow you to build an amazing portfolio. Models will be featured in our beautiful official event program book with the opportunity to purchase full-page ads, as well. Models can participate in additional opportunities like our Centerfold Cover Model Competition and be featured on a billboard in NYC during our event. Models and guests may shop with designers and Vendors to purchase their designs and products, along with some unique and beautiful items from the official UBU Boutique.

There is no "pay to model" fee.  However, each model will choose which Model Essentials Package they want to purchase to make their experience even more memorable. We have several packages available. 

You may apply to be a model by clicking HERE.  If you are accepted, you will receive an invitation to join our program.  If you are accepted, you will then complete your official event registration form and select your Model Essentials Package.  All models are required to purchase one of these packages as our designers need to ensure they are receiving the best models to represent their designs as it is a model's job to make the designer look good. If a Model Essentials package is not purchased, designers will not book you to walk in their shows. Once you are accepted as a model, you will receive a link to register and purchase your package. After you have paid for your package, you will receive your official Model Handbook.

If you are not walking in NYFW and only participating in the Model or Talent Competition, you do not need to purchase a Model Essentials Package.
